As an RVer, I have been using Google Fi cell service during my travels, and while it has its advantages, there are a few drawbacks that make it a mixed experience. Here's my review of Google Fi cell service from an RVer's perspective.

Pros - Cost and Coverage: ★★★★☆ One of the major pros of using Google Fi as an RVer is its cost-effectiveness. The flexible pricing structure allows you to pay for what you use, which can be advantageous if you have varying data needs throughout your travels. Additionally, the coverage provided by Google Fi, thanks to its utilization of multiple networks, is generally reliable in most areas, including some rural locations.

Cons - Frustrating Tech Support: ★★☆☆☆ One of the biggest disappointments with Google Fi is its reliance on AI-powered tech support. When you encounter an issue, interacting with an AI can be frustrating, especially when you require personalized assistance. While it's understandable that AI is efficient for basic queries, complex issues may require human intervention, which can be lacking and unsatisfying.

Cons - Poor Data Speeds after 50GB: ★★☆☆☆ Another significant drawback for RVers using Google Fi is the data speed throttling after reaching 50GB of usage. The reduced speeds can make the phone almost unusable for data-intensive tasks such as streaming videos or downloading large files. This limitation can be frustrating, particularly when you heavily rely on your mobile connection for work or entertainment during your travels. I would have paid more for real unlimited for our RV use but no plan exists.

Overall, Google Fi cell service can be a cost-effective and reliable choice for RVers. However, the frustrating AI-powered tech support and the poor data speeds after 50GB are notable downsides that can significantly impact the user experience. If Google Fi can address these issues, it would greatly enhance its appeal to RVer customers.
